Main and weak hand
The rating runs on two axes — main and weak hand; the profile says which of them is the left one.
Every player has two independent ratings: the main hand and the weak one. These are two different games with different levels, so their history and qualification are separate too.
The profile separately records which hand is the main one — left or right. Right is assumed by default; you can change it in the profile settings and right in your game history.
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Main / Weak" tabs and tiles | the rating axis — which rating is shown now |
| The "main hand: left" line | which hand the player usually plays with |
| The "left hand" badge | in this game the opponent plays left — expect mirrored serves and spins |
Note
The "left hand" badge appears whenever the hand in this game is the left one: both for a left-hander on the main hand and for a right-hander on the weak one.
Switching the main hand in settings only changes the labels: the ratings, history and qualification stay on their axes and do not swap places.
